What’s the difference between Static and Dynamic QR Codes?
Static QR Codes are created with information locked in them. For example, if you create a Static QR Code to point to a specific website URL, that URL could not be changed later. You would have to create a brand-new code. However, in a Dynamic QR Code, that information could be changed without needing to create a brand-new code.
To keep costs low, we here at QR Pages only use Static QR Codes. However, if you would like a Dynamic QR Code you can definitely get one and use it on your marketing pieces.
What should my QR Webpage Sub-URL be?
Your QR Webpage Sub-URL depends on what you plan to use it for. We suggest you make it specific to you, your message and/or your organization while also being as generic as possible. For example, if you are a wedding promotor, we suggest you use a Sub-URL that promotes your services and not a specific wedding.
For example, we suggest you NOT select a Sub-URL like “QRevents.co/Amandas-Wedding/” because that Sub-URL may not be usable after the wedding. However, if your URL was “QRevents.co/Specialty-Events/” you could update the content of that URL over and over whenever you had a new event to promote.
How long does my account last?
Your QR Pages account will last as long as you need it to. Your monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at anytime.
Can I change my QR webpage?
You sure can! We offer a monthly update package where you can send us your HTML code and we update your QR webpage for you as many times as your package includes. You can also purchase a Single Update Pack for quick single updates.
How do I change the content?
You can change your content by contacting us and letting us know what you want changed, if you already have a subscription, that comes with monthly changes.
If updates aren’t included in your subscription, you can purchase an Update Pack.
How do I create my own QR Code?
If you want to create your own QR Code, simply search for “Create a QR Code” on google and several options will come up.
These options may require a small fee or only offer a 30-Day Trial period so please make sure to read their details completely.
Can I remove the QRPage.co header and footer?
You sure can. To remove the QR Page header and footer simply update your subscription level to Gold and your page will be updated to remove the header and footer.
Can I change the URL for my QR code?
It depends. To make sure that our QR Codes are free for our customers, we use a Static QR Code Generator which means that the information is locked into the design of the QR Code and cannot be changed.
However, there are other Dynamic QR Code Creators that may allow you to adjust the information within the code. If you want to be able to change the QR Code information, you will need to create your own Dynamic QR Code.
Can I design or update my own page?
You can definitely design your own QR Page. If you want to design your own page, just send us your final HTML code once you’re done and we will update your page with the code you send. However, you will not be able to access the QR Page site and design your own page.
To keep the other pages secure, we do not allow customers to make adjustments to their own pages at this time.
